NB Sexual Harassment Suit Settled Out of Court (January 17, 1998)
It's been widely reported in the local TV news and newspapers here in San Francisco that Don Johnson's suit against two former workers of the NASH BRIDGES production crew and their counter suit have been dismissed because both sides agreed to a confidential out-of-court settlement on January 13. Elliott Mintz, Don Johnson's publicist, described the legal actions as an attempted shakedown of Don for 1.5 million dollars. Since the settlement is confidential, the truth will never be known, but celebrities are increasingly the targets of civil suits seeking lots of serious cash.
Follow-Up to the STAR Cover Story (January 10, 1998)
The major legitimate newspapers in San Francisco picked up on the STAR story just days after we reported right here on NashBITS. We'd rather see pictures of Don in action on the set of NASH BRIDGES rather than him standing around at an art gallery opening. Check out our links for some photos - or contact us if you've got some.
NASH For the New Year (January 10, 1998)
NASH BRIDGES had a healthy showing for the November sweeps, with ratings holding steady or improving. This virtually guarantees, at midseason, a fourth year slot. Happy New Year, Don and company! Stay tuned for more.
